Futuristic Gun

What's up dock?
-Lately I've been busy doing some texturing for this gun.Couple of weeks have gone since i started this model and now it's finished.It was challenging for me...new experience always comes handy ;)
-To increase proffesional feel on my portfolio I'll be making completely new presentation,this one is WIP.

Brand Identity

Hello my friends!

It has been wonderful week so far.I made a decision to learn something new.
Accidentally i came across David Airey. Specifically his book : ''Logo Design Love''
In short,book is about brand identities,guide to creating them.
-Now im near to the end of this awesome reading material.Today I wanted to make a challange for myself and sketch something as fast as i can.And yes I came up with something useful.Well i took my first letters from my name (MS).Silhuette is reading as a cute dog,well maybe it doesn't make any sense for me for right now ;D
This blog isn't about my ''Super Awesome'' sketch.It's about objectives that holds the key.Key element which express brand identitie. ;)

Sci Fi Weapon




-Whoa!!It's has been crazy week and finally it's all over.Overall im happy how this turned out.:)
-During this project i learned more about texturing, specifically how to add wear and tear.Still have to studie that one ;D
- Next project will be something near Steampunk style,got inspired by Bioshock Infinite.

Sci Fi Weapon Update

Hello again!Now,im here with a little update.Today I finished high frequency sculpt in zbush.I was going for quite clean model but with subtle scratches...I think I accomplished that...didn't I? ;D
-To export this beast out of zbrush i will be using decimation master.It's pretty heavy ,around 12 million poly's
-Next step-retopology!Let's Go!

Sci Fi Weapon



-Hello, people!Today was a great day to start something  new,something different ,yet difficult to model.So i chose this Sci Fi  weapon.The shape is pretty funky,organic ,not what i'm  used to.I consider this as a challange for me.
-To leave my comfort zone im thinking about different pipeline.
1.Base shape using 3Ds max
2.Finer details using zbrush
3.Texturing using Mari and PS
4.Presentation in Marmoset or Xoliul.

Shotgun uv's




Hello World! Today i finished laying out uv's for my low poly model.Just wanted to show how it looks in my screen.haha ;D

-In my opinion it's tightly packed,have to mention that there's some parts mirrored over.Overall im happy,there's no streching and distortion,so Normals Map should bake properly.

-Next step - Baking!Let's Go!

Remington Low Poly




Hey there!After few hours of work i made a low poly version of the Remington.For now it looks too soft,that's because smoothing groops-those will come after unwraping.Okay,time for laying out uv's.Hopefully won't take too much time.haha ;D

Here you go!Little update of Remington shotgun.I think i have done the high poly version.Now it's perfect time to start thinking about optimization,first im gonna make low poly of this using retopology program called Topogun.

-I thought it would be awesome adding scratches and damage to this in zbrush,but then i change my mind.Maybe in future ;D

Im starting my blog right away with this shotgun (Remington Model 10).
Actually it's High Poly model for now since im in early stages of modeling.It is very rough and needs some tweaking.Im going for completely finished game asset,means that i will be doing texturing and baking aswell.
